As explained in the section/web page on my permanent observatory, I named it the Blue Hills Observatory because
it is in a subdivision called Blue Hills. Clear Sky Charts exist and are used by professional and amateur
astronomers to judge whether a planned observing event will have acceptable skies. There are Clear Sky Charts
for many observatories and areas in the U.S. The charts are the creation of an individual named Attilla Danko  I
had Mr.Danko create a chart for my observatory. I just learned that he died last month. This might not bode well for
the continued existence and validity of the chart. Someone has taken over Mr. Danko's responsibilities but  that
individual still has a lot ot learn. Also, the chart has forecasts for the time period in the chart. These forecasts are
automated, but over time the methodology of the forecasts may need to be revised. At this time there is no one that
can do this, and there may never be.

As long as the chart is available, click on the Blue Hills Observatory Clear Sky Chart for an update of the forecasts
for Cloud Cover, Transparency, Seeing, Darkness, Smoke, Wind, Humidity, and Temperature in the Blue Hills
  Observatory area.
